The knowledge area focuses on models and methodologies for the analysis and monitoring the online reputation (Social Media) image of the destination and tourism industries, taking advantage of the digital footprint of visitors, opinions and attitudes in texts written in natural language, as well as their relationships with the environment and other destinations, mobility, etc.
Being able to identify the implications in different dimensions such as infrastructure, accessibility through different means of transportation, how they influence mobility patterns, ... etc.
