Kenneth Bone - Short Bio

 

Kenneth Bone is the Principal of Seasus, a Malta based technology house specializing in the development of complex web and mobile applications. He founded Seasus in 1995, while still reading a B.Sc. IT degree at the University of Malta. Since then, Seasus has matured into one of the local leaders in the industry and is now providing its services in several countries across Europe.

In addition to his commitments at Seasus, he has also been invited as contributor at various conferences and served as an expert consultant to several organizations including Malta Enterprise, Malta Communications Authority, the Malta Council for Science and Technology and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris.

Since 2005, he represented Malta as an ICT expert in the yearly United Nations framework of the World Summit Award (WSA), recognising global digital creativity and innovation with social impact. The WSA is a global follow-up initiative of the United Nations World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) organised by the International Center for New Media (ICNM), Salzburg, Austria.

 

He was also appointed by the European Commission since 2004 as an expert Evaluator and Reviewer of European Funded projects under several funding programmes including eContent, eContent Plus, Safer Internet, Social Innovation, CIP (Competitiveness and Innovation Framework) and Horizon2020.
