Mr. Andrew Nash develops social media, serious games and crowd sourcing applications to improve cities and transport systems. Projects include grr-grr-bike, a smart phone game for bike planning and advocacy, GreenCityStreets, an integrated application for public transport, as well as numerous planning studies.
Andy studied transport engineering and city planning at UC Berkeley. He worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years, and served as Executive Director of the San Francisco County Transportation Authority.
In 2001 Andy moved to Zurich where he worked at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Since 2007 he’s been an independent consultant in Vienna. He is the author of numerous technical publications and has a YouTube channel featuring transport planning parody videos.
