Constantinos (Costas) Antoniou is Professor in the Chair of Transportation Systems Engineering in the Technical University of Munich, Germany. He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from NTUA (1995), MS in Transportation (1997) and a PhD in Transportation Systems (2004), both from MIT. His research focuses on data analytics, modelling and simulation of transportation systems, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), demand modeling and econometrics, calibration and optimization applications, road safety and sustainable transport systems. He is a member of several professional and scientific organizations, editorial boards (Member of the Editorial Board of Transportation Research – Part C and Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems), committees (etc. Secretary of TRB committee AND20 User Information Systems, Member of TRB committee AHB45 – Traffic Flow Theory).
